Goran Vojnović has added another accolade to his impressive literary career with the release of the 12th translation of his novel The Fig Tree . Titled All'ombra del fico and translated into Italian by Patrizia Raveggi, the book has been published by Keller editore and is set to hit shelves this month.
The novel has already been translated into 11 languages, including German, English, Bulgarian, and more. And the list continues to grow, with Hebrew, Ukrainian, and Hungarian translations in the pipeline.
To celebrate the latest translation, Vojnović will make a guest appearance at TESTO in Florence, where he'll joined in the conversation by the Italian author Marco Balzano and journalist Riccardo Michelucci. The conversation will be held in Arena Olivetti at 3 pm on Sunday, 26 February 2023.
The book fair, held from 24 – 26 February, is an annual meeting for Italian readers and literary insiders, offering an in-depth view of the world of books with a selection of titles and literary novelties, guests from all over the world, and a rich programme of events.
